Wrap on short film “Wandeln”
On Friday we wrapped production on my latest short film “Wandeln,” written by Lisa Hopp, produced by Franziska Gröne for BlindCat Productions and funded by Nordmedia. “Wandeln” is a drama about a young climate-activist who must find the courage to go her own way after months of living in a climate camp.
On day two of the shoot we were surprised by a massive snowfall that lasted the entire rest of the shoot. Since the entire film takes place outside, this was a significant challenge! It was testament to a motivated, mutually supportive and professional team that we were able to get what we needed, finishing the shoot in good form and good health (relatively). I am however ready to escape the sub-zero temperatures and very glad that postproduction will take place inside.
